Medium and High Voltage Termination and Splicing Training
Coordinate training with your contractors close to the time they will be performing the terminations on their next job. This hands-on training will last about 1 1/2 hours at the job site.

Certification as a 3M firstop installer
All of your contactors should have certification as 3M Firestop installers. If the electrical contractor is hiring a subcontractor to install the fireseal, you should let them know that they can make the profits themselves as certified firestop installers. Training for certification takes approximately 3 hours of schooling. The trainer will fly in from Denver to do the training and each electrician who attends will receive a laminated card to carry showing they are certified 3M firestop installers.

Safety seminar at the contractor's job site or OEM facility. The seminar will cover safety related products from the Woodhead line as well as common practices that need to be corrected to comply with OSHA standards. This safety seminar lasts about 1 hour and can be done as a lunch and learn.

Connectivity training covering Woodhead components for Device Net, Profibus, and Ethernet.
This training is about one hour in length and will help the distributor sales person understand and sell Network Protocol components from Woodhead.

Aero-Motive training covering Cord Reels, Positioners, Retractors and Balencers
This hands-on training is about one hour in length and will help the distributor sales person understand and sell the details of components that help support the weight of suspended tools at OEM and Industrial facilities.

Learn the basics of Variable Frequency Drives
This training includes learning the basics of the internal structure of a VFD and application training. Hands-on training separately available at the Factory for programming.
